Best Wireless Router 2017

When running a business, whether from home or your office, it’s crucial that your ability to get online is never compromised.

The team at Start up Business Plans have had their fair share of experience in launching and operating successful ventures, so we’ve decided to list our top 3 nominations for the best wireless routers.

TP-LINK TL-WR841N 300 Mbps Wireless N Cable Router

What we think: Although it’s not perhaps the best looking of gear, what it lacks in dashing good looks it more than makes up for in ability. This is a highly cost effective router, with a great range and it’s really simple to set up. You don’t need to have a great deal of tech savvy at all. Winner.

ASUS RT-N66U 802

What we think: A little bit dearer than the above, it’s worth spending the extra money to get a massively reliable and FAST speed from your internet. This router allows the ability to have several devices, all downloading massive files, from a great distance.

If you business depends on large, simultaneous data usage or transfer, this is the kit for you.

Wavlink AC1200 Dual Band 2.4GHz 300Mbps + 5GHz 867Mbps Wireless Router

What we think: The Wavlink is incredibly easy to set up, it doesn’t need a CD! If you’re a bit of a technophobe then that’s good for you. We like the Wavlink as it really helps to get rid of any wifi “dead zones” as it’s got a built in repeater. If we had to pick a fault it would be the built in fire wall, it’s not very good. So, if you’re dealing with potentially important of confidential information, it’s probably not the best shout. If you’re not, then the range and speed would make this router our winner. Of course, you’re free to make up your own mind.
