Best All In One Printer 2017

(Hopefully) long gone are the days when you need a separate machine for printing, copying & scanning.

Let’s be honest, when was the last time you went into a work place and saw a multitude of different bulky, heavy, cumbersome machines dotted around the place?!

A pivotal piece of kit required by every start up business is the all in one printer.

One station where you can print, copy and scan with ease. There’s loads out there, but which are the best; both in terms of affordability and suitability to the start up business person?

Here’s out top 5, there’s some cheap some not so cheap, but like most things, you get what you pay for!

Love to hear your feedback.

HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer with Start Up Inks

Why we like it: Let’s face it; for the price you can’t grumble. Perfect, compact little all in one printer that’s really easy to set up and install. It comes with “start up ink”, which means you get SOME ink, but it’s not a great amount! The plus side is that you can sign up to the HP Instant Ink package, which means for £1.99 per month (sign up any time) you’ll get unlimited HP ink delivered to your door. Winner.

If you’re an android user you can print direct from your device as long as you’ve got the appropriate app.

HP Envy 5540 All-in-One Inkjet Printer

Why we like it: Really simple to set up and as easy to use. Although a little big bigger than other all in one printers on the market it’s still fairly compact. It’s got wireless printing capabilities so you don’t need your laptop to be connected in order to print or save scanned documents, which is handy. Also, you can print from any wifi enabled device, so laptop, tablet or smartphone. It’s got an easy to use touch screen operation. And importantly the print quality is superb, especially if you need to print high resolution documents, such as pictures or photos. Nice bit of kit.

Canon PIXMA TS6050 All-In-One

Why we like it: As a “mid-range” printer the Canon fits the bill perfectly. Good news that it accepts 3rd party cartridges, so negates the need to buy Canon ink all the time. Just be mindful what 3rd party ink you chose because some aren’t all that good. This piece of kit is small and really user friendly, so if you’re not much of a tech fiend then it’s good for you. The Canon can be used to scan either to your laptop, but a cool feature is that the scanning can be set up to save to cloud based programmes too, think Dropbox, Google Drive etc. Scanning resolution isn’t the best out there, but it depends on your needs.

HP OfficeJet 3830

Why we like it: Another great value for money buy right here. Print, scan, copy, all wirelessly, all able to be done via your smartphone if needed. Excellent print quality and speed. Works well with Windows 10 operating system, and the set up is done via wifi. For the price and the results you can’t ask for much more. Again this kit comes with the “starter ink”, so we’d recommend the Instant Ink service, as long as you intend to keep printing to 50 pages per month. This all in one printer is so quiet you’d forget it was there!

HP Deskjet 2540 All-In-One Printer

Why we like it: CD ROM set up with accompanying piece of A4 paper give you double option for set up, although we’d say just follow the A4 instructions. It’s all laid out in a logical, easy to follow format so even the least tech savvy can get up and running in about 10 minutes. If you need to copy in colour then the quality is amazing, especially considering this machine is a budget range. For a quick, cheap and effective all in one printer, this is the one you need!
